       What's new in the 6.5nG -  2007 approved software

1. Basic pull, feel, etc remains the same as the 2004 6.5 and 2005 6.5N chips.

2. New for 2006 6.5nG chip is the support for the new graphics display.   It is pretty cool, but does not work one bit better than the 6.5 chip.  It is easier to use the name feature in the graphics chip than in the 2005 6.5n chip.    

3. Simple slalom mode option with Wakeboard Pro allows an easy way to drive slalom outside of course.

4.  Upgrade is for Pro series systems only and requires a new Graphics Display.  We have put together some special upgrade packages that include a new chip and graphics display $255 with shipping.   For those of you with Plus units, we have an upgrade package for you that includes chip, graphics display, and new mother board $400 with shipping.

5.  Two tricks I have learned so far in using the new graphics display.  One: in the parent screen mode, pressing menu key takes you clockwise around the stations.  Two: make sure you highlight the station you want before pressing /\ or \/ keys. 

Remember if you upgrade to write down this info from your old chip before removing:

1. Base line RPMS in slalom and jump -- this will save time in fine calibration of slalom and jump.

2. What RPM the engine is running at 17 mph -- this will save time in fine calibration of wakeboard and trick.
